Solutions: On 30 July 2026, NICO Holdings Plc held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Ryalls Hotel, Kabula, bringing together more than 120 shareholders and key stakeholders. The meeting provided an important platform for the Group to share its financial performance, key achievements and strategic direction, while giving shareholders an opportunity to engage with the Group’s leadership on matters affecting the business and its future.

Mirage PR, a leading public relations, event management and creative agency in Malawi, played a key role in bringing the Annual General Meeting to life. From event planning and coordination to creative design, event branding, supplier management and media coordination, Mirage PR managed the various elements of the AGM to create a professional environment that reflected the stature of NICO Holdings and supported meaningful shareholder engagement.

With proceedings facilitated by the Company Secretary, who provided shareholders with updates on NICO Holdings Plc’s performance, financial results, strategic direction and key matters affecting the Group. A key highlight was the Group’s strong financial performance for the year ended 31 December 2025, recording a profit after tax of MK234.8 billion, an 87% increase from MK125.5 billion in 2024. This enabled the Group to declare a 100% increase in dividends. The results were positively received by investors and minority shareholders, with the Group reaffirming its intention to sustain growth through strategic investments and diversification beyond Malawi.

While the AGM centred on business performance and shareholder engagement, Mirage PR focused on ensuring that the experience surrounding the proceedings was equally impactful. The agency coordinated suppliers, event branding, décor, guest experience, programme requirements and media activities, ensuring that the different elements came together seamlessly.
