The International Women’s Day Expo & Gala 2025, hosted at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre on March 7 and 8, was curated by Mirage PR in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, NICO, Amaryllis, and UN agencies. The two-day celebration carried forward the theme of “Accelerate Action” envisioning a world free from bias, stereotypes, and discrimination, where women’s equality is valued and celebrated. Mirage PR served as the lead event organizer, responsible for concept development, stakeholder engagement, execution, branding, and media coordination.

Day One featured the Power Suit Business Breakfast, bringing together government leaders, NGOs, and development partners. Highlights included keynote remarks from Hon. Halima Daudi, Deputy Minister of Gender, and presentations by Dr. Mathero Michelle Nkhalamba, Dr. Mary Mkandawire, and Lorraine Mlenga of NICO Group. The Women’s Expo, officially opened by the Deputy Minister, showcased 35 exhibitors from across Malawi, while the SME Clinic provided business insights through testimonies, UNDP case studies, and interactive discussions. Mirage PR ensured program flow, exhibitor coordination, sponsor visibility, and extensive media coverage.

Day Two culminated in the glamorous Gala Night, celebrating the achievements of exceptional Malawian women through inspiring speeches, entertainment, and recognition moments. Mirage PR designed and executed the full gala experience from concept and décor to stage management and sponsor integration. By delivering an impactful, well-coordinated event, Mirage PR reaffirmed its position as a strategic communications and event management partner committed to empowering women, fostering collaboration, and advancing inclusion in Malawi.
